What we collect

When you order we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing address and delivery address. We need all of these to take payment and deliver alcohol legally.

We record that you confirmed you are 21 or over, and we keep the delivery record showing that ID was checked. Licensing law requires this.

We do not see or store your card number. Payment is handled by our payment provider, who sends us only a confirmation and the last four digits.

If you join our mailing list we store your email address and the date you joined.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your basket working, to keep you signed in, and to understand which pages people use. You can refuse everything except the ones the site needs to function, and it will still work.

Your browser settings can block or delete cookies at any time.

Why we use it

To take and deliver your order. To answer your questions. To meet our legal duties around age verification, tax and licensing. To email you only if you asked us to.

We do not use your data to build a profile for advertising elsewhere.

Who we share it with

Our delivery carrier, so they can bring your order and check ID. Our payment provider, so they can take payment. Our email provider, if you joined the mailing list.

We share with authorities where the law requires it, for example a licensing check.

We never sell your data, and we never pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Order and delivery records are kept for as long as tax and licensing law requires, which is usually several years.

Mailing list data is kept until you leave the list. Every email has a one click unsubscribe link.

Account data is kept until you ask us to close the account.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

Deletion has limits. We cannot delete records the law requires us to keep, such as a completed alcohol sale.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of.

To make a request, use our contact page. We reply within 30 days and we do not charge for it.

Children

This site is not for anyone under 21. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to do their job.

No system is perfect. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority as quickly as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we update the date at the top. Significant changes are emailed to anyone on our mailing list.
